Credit card reader does not work. Label says until 4/30/13. Had to go into the office to get fob. Would not be available outside of office hours until card reader is fixed. Passing fob near black sensor activates charging. It was free for now. Full 70A. Nice people in office. Historical house site half a block away on Pacific.

credit card reader is broken until 4/20/13. Dr Marcum and his staff are super friendly, and will loan you his personal free activation fob if you go into the office during normal hours. he's a Tesla owner and super nice. I left him $5 to be nice, since that is his hourly charge rate. this is a 70 amp j1772 level 2 charger, and the only one for 50 miles in any direction I could find. charged a Tesla model S at 16-17 kW. the best stopover on the way to big Sur from LA. 90 min of charge will get you to big Sur and all the RV parks.
