Read http://sanrafael.patch.com/articles/park-a-gas-guzzler-in-an-electric-car-spot-get-a-100-ticket | ice'd EV spot ticket $100, $37 to plug-in driver if charging longer than 4hrs: it is applicable county-wide. After reading the above piece, drivers may want to ask the parking control person if they know of the new fines.

Charged fine, but due to the county fair, I was ticketed for parking in a restricted area. Signs at the lot entrance said to not park in the Sheriff's lot but EV parking signs led us to what seemed to be a different location. No indication on the charger that the it was closed or off limits in any way. Hmmmm... So, just beware that the county may ticket you if you park here during the fair or, perhaps, during other popular events at the fairgrounds.

Charge here several times a week for 15-30 minutes on 120VAC @ ~1KW to freshen up batteries. My mother is at a skilled nursing facility up at Smith Ranch Road, and I briefly charge on the way back home to Larkspur to freshen up the batteries for the freeway drive and the big hill climb back up to my apt. Thanks for making this charging infrastructure available!

Station is next to handicapped parking at north end of middle arch, west side (parking side) of building. Extremely convenient.
