Glad CharJit card still worked, as 350green is being gobbled up by carcharging group, see http://www.plugincars.com/350green-acquisition-sign-things-come-public-charging-industry-123266.html | When this happens all carcharging stations are a $.49kWh fee which is close to $1.60/hr time-fee for old Leaf and iMiev with half-powered 3kW on-board chargers, or twice that $3.20/hr for Focus & Active-E that have full-powered 6kW on-board chargers. To search for their EVSe, see www.carcharging.com/ev-owners/locations/

Successfully used the fast charger with my Charjit card for the first time. The trick is to tap your card on bottom portion of screen, below the animation. Another EV driver was starting to park in this space with no intention of charging when I pulled up. Shame on him! But at least he moved when asked.

I was unable to charge using the Chademo QC because it would not accept my CharGit card and when I went to call the the posted phone#, no one picked up my call. Thank goodness for the new QC at Intuit. It saved my trip.

The chargers are on the first floor in the bigger of the two parking garages. The two J-plugs (Chargepoint) are on the north side, the ChaDeMo (CharJit) is on the south side. Both are located near the middle entrances to the garage.

This was my first time using a QC, and everything went smoothly. The display screen was easy to read. Next time I use a QC, I will leave a note on the windshield with my phone number, so other people who need to charge can call me (the cord is not long enough to reach the adjacent parking space).

Eventually worked fine, though unit's interface could use work. It took time-consuming calls to tech support person who knew little and then a call back from manufacturer to find out that after you plug in, you need to squeeze the lever under the plug so it's fully engaged. (I hope they add markings and modify screen instructions.) So after 8,000 miles and 16 months, I got my first-ever 80% in 30 minutes!

From 25% to cut-off (80%) in ~22 minutes. Dash went from 2 to 9 bars. This charger displays detailed info, but unfortunately only for the first minute or so; it started with 124A at 376V (and climbing), or ~47kW. The utility meter on the adjacent wall indicated peak demand of 49.7kW (so... 95% efficiency? nice!). Anyway, it worked great. Thank you 350Green.

After alerting the Stanford Shopping Center management of the need to repair the L3 coupler cable and to put EV-Only signage for the L3 spot, I received an email today stating that has been done. So, please use the L3 EVSE with confidence and know that it's spot is less likely to be ice'd.

350Green is continually improving this site. They are working on adding more signage. The 350Green customer support number is most heplful in getting issues resolved and improving the site. If you have issues with the site, 350Green may be the best contact. If you want to send thank yous for the site, send them to the mall management and copy 350Green. This is the first consistently publicly accessible Quick Charge site in Northern CA. It's an ealry adopter thing, we'll be working out a few issues as we start to use it. I for one say THANK YOU to 350Green, Simon malls aka. Stanford Mall for this nice, operational, accessible, convenient Quick Charger. Getting on of these installed and making it available to drivers is a large effort! Thank You! Stanford Mall http://www.simon.com/mall/guestservices.aspx?id=841

Way, Way, Waaays Awesome! It's an operational, publicly accessible full power Quick Charger in Northern CA! Yeah! You need a CharJit card from 350Green to use this charger. $7 per 30 minute Quick Charge session, 3 Quick Charge sessions on initial card for $21. Make SURE to turn the car off before connecting to the charger and pressing Start. This is essential for accurate billing. Any issues and you can call their helpful support phone number. The CharJit card should be placed in the black area between the Start and Stop buttons to activate the charger! Charged from 5 bars, 37 mile range to 10 bars, 83 miles range in about 25 minutes.

AV EVSE replaced by Coulomb Level-2 only units. Left most EVSE responded to chargepoint RFID card normally. Right most EVSE, worked OK but differently, like it had different firmware. I wish these EVSE and the L3 EVSE on the opposite side of the parking garage were moved to less used spaces like the top floor, as ice drivers are dying to park there. use http://www.simon.com/mall/guestservices.aspx?id=841 to send message to Stanford Shopping Center management.

(Didn't Charge - Site Looked OK)

I found the L3 EVSE to be on the opposite side of the parking garage level 1 floor (near the perimeter road), thus it is not next or near the Level-2 J1772 EVSE near the Center's stores. Also, an email from Will Beckett confirms what I saw, the L3 EVSE has a physical problem: the strain relief on the L3 coupler cable came lose (or was never installed correctly), thus that cable is possibly hanging by its connected wires. If you use the L3 EVSE, be gentle with that cable. Drivers should send an email to the Center stating the cable needs fixing, and there is needs to be EV-Only signage at the 5 ft height to keep ice out. Use http://www.simon.com/mall/guestservices.aspx?id=841 to send in a maintenance request.

(On behalf of Will Beckett in a Leaf EV): Found out, to use the Level-3 EVSE the driver needs a prepaid 250Green RFID card ($21 to buy), and each use of the Level-3 takes $7 from the card. The service telephone number on the L3 EVSE is only valid during the week 8am to 7pm.

Huge shopping complex in the middle of silicon valley but only two charging stations? Good luck. If there were ten times as many chargers they would all be occupied. Don't count on ever being able to use these.

There are a couple of Blink J1772 chargers on NW edge (next to shops) of lower level, between Macy's and Bloomingdale's. The address of the shop across the street is 240 Stanford Shopping Center, but that doesn't map right, so it's not much help. Turn toward the shopping center from Quarry Road, then turn right into the garage, and then left and right and drive along until you see the chargers on the left.
